FAQ

Is that real fur???

Nope! I only use Faux Fur. It's made from Acrylic- or Polyester Fibres and is unbeatable soft!

Where do you get your Fur?

I mainly use fur from HowlFabrics and BigZfabric (which you can also get from Stoffhummel. I also get my Minky from there!)

What can your fursuits withstand?

All my fursuits are waterproof by default. The bodysuits are sewn using a fur sewing machine. This results in barely noticeable seams that are quite stretchable. The ears are double-glued, and the tail always has a belt loop, regardless of the desired attachment method. This way, the most delicate parts are well protected from tensile stress. The fursuit is built on a foam core by default, so it won't take damage when dropped.

Please note that the whole Fursuit is sensitive to heat! Faux Fur is made of acrylic- or polyester fibres that can melt together quite easily. Therefore, keep your Fursuit away from any Heat Sources!
Halte deinen Fursuit daher Fern von Wärmequellen!

Please follow my care instructions to ensure the suit has a long life!

Can you put electronics in my fursuit?

As such, yes. However, the suit is then no longer waterproof, so I'm generally not a fan of electronics in the fursuit. If you still want ventilators or LEDs in your suit, please contact me in advance!

What style can you build?

I'm currently trained in toony to semi-realistic. I don't offer Realistic and Kemono at the moment, but they are possible as part of an Artistic Freedom commission.

Do you accept NSFW Commissions?

No. My Fursuits are family-friendly exclusively.

What machines do you use?

I get asked this question surprisingly often. If you want to start building fursuits yourself, a standard household sewing machine is perfectly sufficient to begin with, regardless of the brand and features. Even for fur trimming, inexpensive clippers can get you a long way! It's better to experiment with cheaper materials first before purchasing expensive equipment. This way, over time, you'll get a feel for which machines best suit your needs; everyone has different preferences. Personally, I prefer to work with the following machines:

    • Strobel Success Kl. 72 FF – Fur sewing Machine
    • Sewmaq SWD 8700M-7 – Industrial flat-bed sewing machine
    • Elna Excellence 720 Pro – Universal-Sewing Machine
    • Brother PR1x - Embroidery Machine
    • Andis Ultra Edge – Clippers
    • Harder & Steenbeck Evolution - Airbrush
